Schedule of the mobilization:
12pm: Gathering in Gaillon
2pm: Speeches and the march sets off
8pm: Peasant celebration and concerts begin
Syngenta's site in Saint-Pierre-la-Garenne runs 24/7. Our massive presence during this mobilization will inevitably bring the site to a halt for at least 24 hours.
This action is meant to be beautiful and determined! Feel free to bring your finest banners and let your imagination run wild to create stunning visuals to shout your anger and denounce the abuses of Syngenta and the agrochemical complex.
Information evening:
An information evening will be held on Thursday at 7pm at the Manufacture des Capucins, in Vernon.
Getting settled:
A campsite near the starting point of the action will be announced when the time comes.
It will be possible to pitch a tent from Friday evening. Meals will be provided on site Friday evening, Saturday noon and Saturday evening.
Indoor accommodation will be available for people in vulnerable situations: please let us know your needs in advance (requests can be sent to stop-pesticides3oct@riseup.net).
Getting to the mobilization site:
Gaillon Aubevoye train station:
the station may be closed on the day itself; the alternative station is in Vernon, 10km away
Cycling convoy from Paris:
get in touch with the Amis de la Terre, who are coordinating this convoy
Carpooling:
self-organized carpooling lists in different departments/regions. Feel free to organize among yourselves (contact the local Soulèvements committees, the Confs, or the local Cancer Colère chapters).
Chartered buses:
some departments have already started booking buses (Transdev reportedly has the best rates).
Parking in the town of Gaillon:
plenty of spaces (station, supermarkets, swimming pool, schools), but not unlimited either, so carpooling is preferred
